After hearing reports of a la Nina Pacific Ocean this season and likely warmer weather and less precipitation we have experienced pretty much the opposite.  Its been a cold period and towards the middle and end of the month of January a considerable amount of snow fell in northern Arizona.  So, that means great skiing conditions at the Arizona Snow bowl and and needed moisture for our forests and gardens.  Right here at Elden Trails guests have been able to snowshoe and x country ski.

The property backs up to a national forest for our beloved four-legged friends to run free. The most mention-able part of our experience was the breakfast. It was healthy, wholesome and organic. We ate eggs laid that morning from the chickens right outside the studio."
