SPRINGTIME in FLAGSTAFF
Fun things to do In Flagstaff
After a series of unseasonal cold weather systems dusted us with snow and soaked us with rain sunny spring weather is back. The wet weather has had benefits though as Flagstaff gardens and forests are greening up nicely. In past years May has often seen us experience dry and very warm conditions. Another benefit to the cooler & moist weather is that the forest fire danger is low and that is most welcome indeed. At this time there are no fire restrictions in the area. Campfires and BBQ's are allowed.
This is a great time of year to get out and enjoy the great hiking trails this area has to offer. We don't call ourselves Elden Trails for nothing as we have excellent access to a number of great trails right out our back gate.
The Flagstaff Community Market is open for the 2015 season. This outdoor extravaganza of farm fresh offerings and some local crafts will be open every Sunday all summer at the Flagstaff City Hall parking lot. The market hours are from 8:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
