A last blast of Winter

Here it is early spring, the 4th of April and its cold outside.  Yesterday was colder with snow and while it was not a significant amount of snow it was heavy at times.  The weather forecasters tell we are  on now on an upswing and by next week we'll be having temperatures in the upper sixty's and even 70's.  Yes, spring will finally establish a presence here in northern Arizona.  Business at Elden Trails B&B is picking up for which we are grateful.  If you enjoy hiking, the local trails are mostly in good shape.  Right out our back gate you have your choice of several great hikes, some relatively easy others more on the strenuous side but all well worth the effort and the excellent views you will enjoy.  Is there snow on the ground you ask?  A little, but not much and fast melting so that by Monday the 7th everything will be dry and clear.  Here at Elden Trails we still have openings in April and May so give us a call (928-266-0230) and we'll reserve the Studio Suite for you.  We do accept well behaved dogs limit two and also cats for a $25.00 nightly fee each.
