Fall comes to Flagstaff
The first cooler days

Its been a very pleasant summer in Flagstaff and the entire northern region. The first taste of cooler days to come has been with us the past several days with night temperatures falling into the 30's and daytime highs only reaching the 60's. However its still very nice and despite a couple of windy days our Elden Trails B&B guests are still enjoying breakfast on the patio. We will soon be getting our winter delivery of firewood to keep the home fires burning. Will it be a heavy precipitation winter? There are many predictions but after all is said its pretty hard to say with any certainty what it will be like. A good rule for many of us is to expect a hard winter and be prepared for whatever may come. If you are planning on visiting Flagstaff this winter give us a call (928-266-0230) and we will book you in for a cozy stay in our comfortable Studio Suite. The Studio is directly on the edge of national forest land and an easy stroll to the base of Mt. Elden where if you're up for it a steep hike to the top or a relatively easy hike around the base of the mountain. It is often said that people do not read much on a website but if you have read this far as us for a winter special.
