Fall Weather Returns to Flagstaff
Cooler days ahead

More seasonal temperatures are set to return to northern Arizona but that does not mean its time to hunker down. Hunkering down with a nice beverage and a hot fire in the wood stove or fireplace can be a very enjoyable way to wind down the day. But, daylight hours can be as filled with outdoor activities as you want them. So, cooler days are part of the deal and can be enjoyed by young and old.
Here are a few things you can put on your to experience list. Take a nice easy drive up Snowbowl Road and enjoy great views of the surrounding area and check out beautiful aspen leaves turning golden. Another great place to visit is the Museum of Northern Arizona where many spectacular exhibits are on display. You can visit the world famous Lowell Observatory and take in the interactive visitor center and many evenings you can also look through telescopes too. A visit to this area would not be complete without a side trip to the Grand Canyon. There is nothing like it anywhere and its only an easy ninety minute drive from Flagstaff. Just a 15 minute drive from Flagstaff can take you to Walnut Canyon National Monument where you can see up close and personal 800 year old cliff dwellings. Last but certainly not least, take a walk around Historic Flagstaff. The entire comprises only about a 5 block square area. We hope to see you soon.
