Feels like spring in Flagstaff

Spring like weather in the Flagstaff area and most of Arizona makes us feel like preparing the gardening season.  We have chives coming up outside now but mot everything is fooled by the warmth.  The lilacs have not begun their budding out process yet so that is actually a good sign.  There will be more cool days still and freezing nights.  We took a two mile walk around Flagstaffs popular Buffalo Park and it was so nice you did not even need a light jacket or sweatshirt, and this is a place that's usually windy.  Will we see any more snow this season?  Its hard to say but possibly not as the long range forecast calls for continued above seasonal temperatures.  It a great time to hike here and right our our back gate are some of the areas best trails, like the ever popular Fat mans Loop a two mile loop on the lower slopes of Mt. Elden. Here at Elden Trails B&B we are ideally situated for quick access to several trails especially Fat Mans Loop which is just a couple of hundred yards out our back gate.  A great hike and a pizza from the New Jersey Pizza company or maybe Fat Olives Italian food and pizza.  Give us a call to reserve our Studio Suite at 928-266-0230.
