Spring in Flagstaff

We made it through March and what a month it was.  Record high temperatures were set on a number of days as the month brought us summer like weather.  We saw highs over 80 on a number of days in mid to late March.  With the departure of March it turned blustery and went out with heavy rain the night of the 30th and into April 1st.  Undaunted we carry on here at Elden Trails Bed and Breakfast with our spring and summer preparations.  The gardens are waking up and with the rain last night a new surge of green is evident.  The rains of last night were much needed as things were very dry and it may help to quell the worries of forest fire danger. 

We had a new hot water recirculating pump for the Studio installed today which means instant hot water for our Studio guests.  We have have placed a new TV in the living room area of the Studio.  It has about 40 channels available and the use of a DVD player.  For those who do not want any television the cover can stay over the screen.  We are starting to receive more bookings now  so if you are planning a trip that will bring you to northern Arizona give us a call (928-266-0230) to reserve the Studio Suite.  For those of you who have not been here before a stray here includes our fabulous, yes fabulous breakfast.  It will likely be the best breakfast of your vacation.  Great hiking trails await you right out our back gate, literally some of the best hiking trails in the area.  We are just a short drive of 10 to 12 minutes from Historic Downtown Flagstaff. The rain is over and nice spring weather will be with us.  We have fresh tomatoes from our greenhouse!
