Winter is coming to Flagstaff

Yes, winter is on its way to the Flagstaff area but so far no snow yet.  However Arizona Snowbowl is open with man made snow on several runs.  We have had some rain but conditions are still very good for those wishing to enjoy a good hike.  Right here at Elden Trails Bed & Breakfast and directly out our back gate you will have access to several local favorite hikes.  Just to name a few, there is the ever popular "Fat Mans Loop" which is a two mile loop on the lower slopes of 9200' Mt. Elden.  For the more adventurous hikers there is the "Elden Lookout Trail."  This trail begins at the high point of "Fat Mans Loop" and winds up a steep route two and a half miles to the summit of Mt. Elden.  For entertainment and dinning Historic Downtown Flagstaff has much to offer with a number of excellent restaurants with cuisine to please a variety of tastes.  We still have openings in late Nov. and Dec. so give us a call at 928-266-0230 to experience true northern Arizona hospitality and a terrific breakfast.
